I’m excited to be attending South by Southwest 2010, the music, film, and interactive conference and festival in Austin, TX this weekend. We’ll be showcasing the .tv domain in a variety of activities and events, including:

• We’re sponsoring The Big Digg Shindigg on Saturday night, 7pm at Stubbs BBQ. We’ll have a big tent where we’ll have some fun, as well as giving people the chance to audition for our “Best of .tv” show and win a trip to San Francisco, to hang out backstage at Revision3 with Diggnation Producer, David Prager – see Southby.tv/diggnation for more info!

• The .tv street team will also be at the event to answer questions, give out prizes, and let people know about the opportunity to audition to be the next .tv correspondent.  Consumers can upload an audition video to Southby.tv/Diggnation from March 13th to April 9th 2010.   The winner will be announced in May 2010.

• The winner will be flown to San Francisco for a hands-on training session with Diggnation and their producer, David Prager. David will give a tour of what goes on behind the scenes at the taping of Revision3 shows and also teach the winner some tools and tricks to run a successful online video site.

• Also, all those who go to Southby.tv and register a .tv domain name will be eligible for special prizes including 20 percent off the standard price of a .tv domain as well as one month of free deluxe hosting until the end of the promotion.
